The Enify trial version is located in its own Microsoft Azure tenant. All the users in this tenant can share elements and boards with each other. The purpose of this article is to be transparent in how we capture and use data during trial periods.
Note: Each Microsoft Enify tenant is located in North- Europe. All Enify data is located in the Enify database within that tenant.
Trial version, data gathering and user experience
- The trial version has been created to let users familiarise themselves with Enify functionality. During the trial period, Epsis will track your usage data with the purpose of giving you the best possible experience. That is:
- Number of elements and boards created and archived (NB: not their content)
- Number of elements and boards shared (NB: not their content)
- When you successfully login to the system
- This is necessary for us to be able to update and give you the best possible user experience.
- You will get help on how to utilise the software based on your progress in using Enify to support your learning
- Epsis may develop and deploy updates to the product ( improvements and bug fixes) based on this usage data.
Default access
- All users in the trial version will be given the same default access to the Enify functionality. No admin roles will be provided. If you need something that requires admin access, please contact the Enify Team.
Shared information during Enify trial:
Note: When sharing elements and boards with other users, security is imperative. Those users will not be able to access any data, files and applications they don't already have access to. Enify provides no means of bypassing any security. Read more: "Security when opening applications"
Your data if you want to buy Enify after testing?
- If you decide to buy Enify after trying out the trail version, your organisation will be able to do so. You would have the option of moving the trial data (elements and Boards) to your own Azure infrastructure or within a tenant managed by Epsis. Epsis can provide consultancy to facilitate this transfer.
